Established in 1947 as an “old-fashioned corset shop,” metropolitan Detroit’s Harp’s Lingerie has certainly achieved iconic status in a very specific retail niche. Specializing in one-on-one service and expert fittings, the store caters to women of all shapes, sizes and ages, and offers an extremely wide range of products, brands and styles.
Competition in the industry is abundant, with several retail chains vying to dominate the market, as well as the hearts of younger customers. For these reasons, Harp’s management knew that they needed to appeal to a more contemporary mindset, yet still retain the loyalty of their current, diverse customer base by strongly reinforcing the “artisans” image of their brand. We designed and developed an all-new, responsive site with the intention of doing just that.
