Chrysler’s all-new minivan, Pacifica, was revealed to media attendees from all over the world at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. As the successor to over three decades of segment-leading models, Pacifica certainly had “big shoes to fill” at its debut.
With the vehicle often described as the ultimate family hauler, we decided that a kid-friendly theme for the product information materials would be appropriate, and a unique way to reinforce the overall messages. A custom “travel-size” game was developed, including illustrated game board (highlighting some of metro Detroit’s landmarks), molded custom game pieces and interactive USB in the shape of the vehicle, game movement cards (with key product facts) and playing instructions – all in a custom-designed zippered outer case. Also included was a highly detailed, printed product information book. The USB content included product info, photography, video and an interactive “key messages” section to better highlight the product’s features and advantages.
